Erasing Wrinkles Almost Instantly

Are you the type of person who's guilty with looking in front of the mirror inspecting every nook and cranny of your face? Then you discover a horrific thing especially when you're in your early 30s or late 20s - the formation of a wrinkle. A wrinkle is a fine, thin valley on your face caused by the sagging of the skin's outer layer - the epidermis, and this sagging is caused by the skin losing collagen and elastin - two components, which contribute to the skin's youthful appearance. When we're younger, we don't have wrinkles since our skin has a lot of these, which helps the skin in stretching and holding moisture. So you notice that some older women have dry or leathery skin, right? Or a friend who's in her 20s already having lines due to the skin appearing really dry? That's due to the lack of these collagen and elastin. Now we know that collagen injections aren't just for plumping lips.

Normally, when girls have a wrinkle, they freak out, sulk, or speed-dial the nearest derma to give them a shot of Botox. I personally have a love-hate relationship with wrinkles. I think they indicate expressions and how a person ages in time. I hate them for makeup appears to sink in creases enhancing them rather than making them less pronounced and that takes up most of the time in makeup. I find Botox injections crazy since it kills the muscle that causes the muscles to move so the face gets that taut and tight expression - with the cost of being sad or happy or angry even if you have a high-stress level meeting. Sure they look pretty in photos, but I think having a face that could move is so much better, especially if you're acting when you have to deliver lines really well.

Is there something that could magically erase wrinkles though? We don't have that yet but we do have something that can relax and reduce the appearance of wrinkles after an application. That's Olay's newest product, Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream, which promises dramatic wrinkle reduction in just one application.

So you mean we'll have zilch wrinkles at all? It won't erase it entirely but it will help. What Wrinkle Relaxing Cream does is to fill in the depression in the face lines so they look and feel smoother.

Whereas most primers are silicon-based and feel like plastic on skin (which is why people don't use them), this Wrinkle Relaxing Cream acts the same without the blocking-the-pores like feel. It feels really nice on the skin when I tried it at the back of my hand with a faint scent. My back-of-hand skin felt really smooth. Take note that my skin's really dry so that's a big improvement.

So does that mean their effect will last only until you soap off the area. With immediate solution to wrinkles come preventive treatment. Aside from the particles which help us with the veil, Olay Wrinkle Relaxing Cream plus a combination of B3 complex and advances biopeptides, which heal and treat the skin enabling it to be healthier, especially if you're the type who loves subjecting the skin to frequent humane levels of abuse like tweezing and all.

If it works prettily on the face, I wonder how it would work though, but this could be an option for clients/models with dry and/or mature skin. Most clients like that like to get everything done fast, so it's cool I have this as an option.

Kris Aquino Is Olay's Newest Brand Ambassador

A few weeks ago, Olay launched its newest brand ambassador, someone who loves and firmly believes on the product and has been exposed to it ever since she was a child.

Kris Aquino - actress and tv show host has been acquainted with Olay. Her mom was an Olay user back then with the pink Oil Of Olay bottle. She jokingly reveals that she uses Olay from head to toe. She's got a collection of Olay body and skin care and even uses Olay Total Effects on her body. That's how much she loves the product.

Olay Total Effects has been around for quite some time and you all know that this is my brand of choice for skin care for my own personal use, and sometimes for clients. If I've done your makeup lately, you might have noticed that slim bottle of Olay Total Effects in my skin care kit. Actually, let me tell you a story. I just started using Olay in 2008, when Regenerist was first introduced. Before I got into makeup, I wasn't into skin care, so I was using whatever was cheap and if I should use it. With proper skin care, we should also know what proper products to use. Case and point, the stuff I've been using when I was 16 will not work now that I'm nearing 30, because a 16-year-old has different skin care needs from someone who's 30.

At a certain point in life, our skin care needs an extra boost. Whitening (in most cases, as I've noticed a lot of Pinays have an obsession for fairer skin) isn't enough when someone's older so skin care needs to address the signs of skin ageing. I've been told that by age 25-28, we should start using anti-ageing skin care due to the stress that age is exposed to as well as the exposure to the elements - smoke, pollution, sun, and all. I kinda started at 26 so I guess I'm not too late. So when you reach that age, it's best to start switching to anti-ageing skin care like Olay.

Kris relates to everyone that not only did she have great reviews with the product. She relates how her makeup artist for the event, Juan Sarte (and also one of my makeup idols) used this to do her makeup and he said that the quality of makeup wasn't affected with the product, to think Olay contains sunscreen. The common problem with some sunscreens or moisturizer infused with sunscreen is that makeup doesn't seem to adhere well to the skin for some weird reason. But for Olay, makeup melds well and it in fact, looks like second skin. I believe that too because I used Olay on my trial makeup with my client and I took a picture of her using harsh flash from a point-and-shoot. Skin looks the same and protected from sun damage, so thumbs up for outdoor shoots, outdoor/garden/beach weddings, and even studio shoots where fluorescent lights and hot studio lights can contribute to skin damage.

Actually, here's the thing, my pole teacher told us that relief for chafed skin is moisturizer. Understandably, we can't use moisturizer during pole days, but we can use them at night or off-pole days provided we soap it off when it's time to pole. Since our skin can get discolored from all the friction from our tricks and I sometimes go home with chafed skin on my wrist, thighs, waist, and back-of-knee, guess what's my cream on those areas at night? :)

Surviving Summer At The Olay Natural White Healthy Fainess Launch

Hello Summer, how do you fare? The sun is shining, (friendly and safe) bodies of water (i.e. calm beaches and swimming pools) are inviting, and the mercury's rising up the thermometer as school's out and hemlines get shorter. Isn't it time to just have fun? Summer gets my body going in the right amounts. I spend a great deal of my mornings sunning by the pool and taking a morning dip as part of my strengthening exercises. As my boots make way for flip flops and I tuck my coats and cardigans at the back of my closet making way for the tank tops and shorts, it just dawned to me that we do need to take care of that part in our bodies that get exposed all the time, which is our skin.

In just the nick of time, I received an invitation for an event that's in time for summer and this time, Olay, a skin care brand I totally swear by has come up with another line for girls who would like, well the lighter things in life in a healthy and safe way. Naturally, we all live in a culture that's obsessed with fair skin. There are others in the spectrum who love our natural golden color, like myself. Sometimes though, sun worshippers like me do tend to get in tanning accidents and walking around the concrete jungle that is our own city sometimes get us a bit of uneven skin. For example, the dark forearms but pasty white chest. It's like, you're tan, but not the right and even tan we want. So even if we want to bare it all in those sexy skirts, we still can't because of the uneven patches of skin color.

Last week, Olay launched the Natural White Healthy Fairness Bar, a moisturizing soap bar that could be a bathtime companion when we want a bit of evening out of the skin so it would be so much easier flaunting the skin. The event was held at the SM Makati activity center. As we've been familiar with the face moisturizers that came out last year that takes care of our faces from blotchiness, we now have something to take care of the rest of our skin. Aside from that, the event also introduced their ambassador, actress and celebrity endorser Kim Chiu.

This soap contains the same Vitamin C technology used in the facial creams, so it's not bleaching and burning our skin. As Kim says, it doesn't turn your skin really, really white. It just brings out your natural fairness. I was told before that the lightest our skin could get is the inside of our forearms, as that part gets less exposed. So (sigh of relief) we get results that are natural and fit for our skin tones, so nothing pasty or unhealthy here too. Besides, Vitamin C is good for the skin!

Aside from introducing this new product, the event shows us all how to maximize our summer time from experts who know how it's all done. Tim Yap gave tips on how to get noticed in parties and shindigs to avoid another wallflower moment while wedding photographer Pat Dy also gave tips on how to pose so our one million and one summertime photos are flattering for our figures. To put together summer outfits, celebrity stylist Ana Kalaw gives tips and tricks on how to look our best during summer.

Tip #1 was to experiment on jewel tones like sapphire, emerald, and ruby colors. So it's all about bright colors to get noticed. Hmmm... come to think of it, she does make a point. A pretty ruffled fuchsia top gets you noticed more than a gray maxi dress. Don't get me wrong though, I love gray. Hmmm... maybe I'll pair that with a jewel-toned statement bag too.

Jeans, check! Turquoise flowy top, check! Even with minimal or clean makeup, Natasha didn't look like a wallflower in this getup.

For those na matigas ang ulo and would still wear black (like me!!!!) let's not fret because black is still okay, and in fact, a classic. However, it's time to spruce up the black with a bit of texture so it's not flat and blah. Take this cue from Melissa, who wore a black bodycon dress with sequin details.

The shimmer adds a bit of dimension on the photograph, so it's not one chunk of black. As I stare at the sea of black outfits in my closet, I wonder how to spruce them. Hmmm.... silver accessories maybe, just for dimension, or a statement necklace or belt perhaps?

Of course summer staples are swimwear and accessories, and Ana shows how to wear two-piece swimwear depending on the body shape.

Shades are summer's best friends - they shield the eyes from harmful UV rays and prevent the fine lines and wrinkles caused by squinting. Another bonus is they hide bags from sleepless nights. They also make us look chic even if we're not wearing makeup. Don't these three look so very Charlie's Angels?

If anyone finds the pieces familiar, these clothes come from everyone's favorite clothing line Forever 21. By the way, they'll be opening in a few days in SM Makati so whoop-de-do from yours truly, who's guilty of a weekly shopping trip in the SM Megamall store. :)

I'm sure you'd love the yummy scent as it pampers our skin. As of the moment, the unopened bars smell really nice and clean, I'm tempted to use them on my sponges and brushes too, but of course, my skin comes first! :)

Running From North To Center On An Event-full Friday

Can't complain my loves, can't complain. I didn't expect to have a full Friday, and normally, I'm quite apprehensive about leaving the comfort zone that is my home on a vehicle-full road of a payday Friday. Anyways, despite coming home almost 12 I was smiling from ear to ear and I'll tell you why.

Romina texted me if I would like to attend an Olay event at Robinson's Galleria. I had an event 6:30-ish and since the event in Galle was in the afternoon, I had some time to buy though, and I already put in my head that I'll be taking the MRT back to Makati after Galleria when the northbound EDSa traffic was getting me antsy. Anyhow, the event encouraged women and of course men to use Olay body bar by trading their empty soap bars for a bar of Olay to get the habit going. The bar of course, should cost at least Php 25.00. It was a very systematic procedure, from registering, liking the Olay Philippines page on Facebook, and there were even some fun stuff where participants get to do a 30-second video on why they decided to make the switch to Olay and have their pictures taken in the photobooth. If they're one of the first 50 participants though, they get their 1 minute of fame where they get to meet, greet, and have their picture taken with one of the Olay ambassadors, Angel Aquino.

Who doesn't remember Angel's performance as the feisty Vera Cruz in the recently-concluded Magkaribal? While her TV persona is mean and scheming with matching hurling of yards of fabric or screaming at her character's subordinates, Angel is actually a real down-to-earth Angel who gamely answered questions of women when it came to ageing. At the end, Angel encourages the audience, citing several examples from friends and colleagues and even herself, that it's never too late to make the change. After an early dinner, I dashed off and was glad to catch a train back to Makati. At that time, Yeoh was already calling me that he was already at the next event. It was quite cool that we were both in that same event, since his alagas (also my good friends) would be modelling at the event.

This was the RIIR or Rags2Riches event where they unveil its Fashion/Holiday collection of signature bags and accesories. RIIR's premier designer is Amina Aranaz-Alunan, who's also the designer behind the luxury bag line Aranaz.

So proud of Jazel. I remember still her first-ever shoot where Nix did her makeup and I curled her hair. Jazel has gone so far and there's a lot of potential I see in her.

This assymetric white dress (by Rajo Laurel, who provided the clothes for this show) goes well with Kae's honey-colored skin tone.

Those colored woven fabrics are actually scrap fabric materials converted into usable accesories so there's minimal discarded materials that would just end up as trash and litter. Guess who makes these bags? The community of mothers from Payatas! It's just amazing and heartwarming how fashion houses like these extend all the way to Payatas so the mommies there also have a sustainable source of income. The fabrics are meticulously weaved and crochet-knitted into the designs I showed earlier. Aside from bags, these fabrics could also be made to belts and accessories.

I may not wear much accessories but I love statement pieces.

I think these ladies deserve a round of applause, don't you think? After all without them, there would be no bags. It's just too cute that they were there with us too so they saw how fierce and fasyon their handiworks are. Yeoh and I of course in our obligatory wackiness. Why is this just the makeup on my face? I had a good ten minutes to change to my micro black dress which means skip a lot of stuff on the makeup department and whip out that red lipstick. That's one reason to love red. It cuts my makeup time in a total fraction.

Right after that, Yeoh dragged me to the Urban Athletics event since it was my butty Erika's event and we were there for moral support. Another cheerio and shoutout of support also to our model friends who ramped the catwalk in style.

Since our gastrocnemius muscles were giving way after teetering in heels, We traded the cocktail tables for comfy chairs at Coffee Bean, but wanting real comfort food, we walked over to McDonalds for happy junk food and kwentos. Seeing my friends in person instead of updating via Facebook and SMS is totally different. Definitely worth the painful calves, speedy makeup, and jampacked train. :)

Forever Young With Olay

My love affair with Olay started when I was introduced to Olay Regenerist two years ago (wow! tagal na). After that, I've been a regular Olay user. I'm currently using Olay Total Effects with cooling essence as my moisturizer (under sunblock) and Olay Body as my soap. So far, I have nothing but great things to say about it and I'm glad I'm super hiyang. I admit starting with Olay late in my life, when I became really conscious about skin care and anti-ageing, and I not only use it on myself but also on my clients, particularly those very conscious in the anti-ageing department.



I got invited to an Olay event last Wednesday as it celebrates its many years as an iconic skin care brand. Being an Olay user, it was a yes for me to go. When I got there, I was handed out a card where I should come up with a witty statement by filling in the blanks to this:

"Time can change _________________ but ________________ would live forever."

and then post it to the wall right there.

Have you guys tried the Olay Total Effects Mask? Then you should! I went to SM Makati though to buy a sheet but they ran out. :( You could read all about it right here. It's a bit pricey for a mask sheet but it really does the job.


When the progam started, we found out the history of Olay, not only when it came here to Manila but how it really started. I found out that it actually wasn't developed by a woman, but take note - a South African chemist named Graham Wulff (yes, he's a he) back in the early 1950s. He created it as a gift to his wife Dinah. Apparently back then, beauty creams were thick and greasy and packed in tins just like shoe polish. Imagine that? Not only did it wasn't that fabulous on the vanity, it was just like putting wax on the face. There were stains on the pillow when you wake up in the morning and how could their pores breathe? The new face cream Wulff created was one that could be quickly absorbed to the skin with the benefits of hydration and protection.


After trial and error then comes the legendary Oil of Olay beauty fluid, which we see on our lola's dressers, the pink fluid with the black cap. I remember than on my own grandma's dresser.


Olay has come so far as the pink facial lotion in the 1950s. We have olay cleansers, serums, day and night creams, soaps, and shower creams. Olay has also different lines. There's the famous Regenerist line, which I currently use alongside my Total Effects with cooling essence. There's Natural White for those who want to achieve fairness without looking fake. Those who want a sunkissed glow would love Touch of Sun, which is available in the US. For higher levels for anti-ageing, there's Olay Definity, also available in the US.

I guess the most popular among all of us is Olay Total Effects, the iconic black-and-gold pump bottle which has raised awareness in the anti-ageing department. Since it got here, a lot of women have been conscious about anti-ageing. And Olay does more than just battle the 7 signs of skin ageing but also nourishes and protects the skin. Of course we needed testimonials to see proof that Olay does work so four Olay ambassadors share their stories of how this tiny bottle lives up to its promise.





TV Host Daphne Osena-Paez, theater actress Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, designer Ines Delgado-Prieto, and beauty queen Miriam Quiambao join the event host Menchu Antigua as they share their stories and how Olay has been a part of them. These ladies looked absolutely fabulous and take note that none of them are in their 20s yet they seem to look way better than women ten years younger than they are. These ladies have very busy, busy scheduled juggling one task to another and yet there's not a trace of haggardness in them.


After the event, I had the chance to say hi to Menchu Launchengco-Yulo. I'm glad she still remembers me!

I first saw Menchu when she portrayed the role of Fantine in Repertory Philippines' production of Les Miserables at the Meralco Theater. While I was in high school, she also became a guest speaker in our drama club where she gave us several mini-workshops. I did watch her plays after that, the last one being Hairspray and she still looks the same (I can't believe she's 47 already!) One of her most notable performances is where she portrayed Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd last year, which won her the Best Actress in A Musical Award by Philstage Awards for the PErforming Arts. To add to that and her many, many roles, she would soon take on another responsibility, that is stepping up as the Associate Artistic Director for Repertory Philippines next year.

Menchu grew up seeing Olay in her house with her mom being a user and swears by it up to this very day. Despite having her skin cooked under heavy stage makeup and strong stage lights, her skin still has that youthful glow thanks to Olay. Aside from Olay, she tells me that one of her tips is to just be happy. She doesn't stress much now and it really helped as well. One tip I learned!

With proper lifestyle, outlook, and skin care, I really hope that ten or so years after, I get to maintain a youthful vibe, just like the Olay ambassadors. I don't know if I'll be stepping onstage anytime but who knows? Till then, I'll just enjoy what I have and stay happy.

Event: The Olay Summer Fashion Walk-Off

Last week, I had the pleasure to be invited to the Olay Fashion Walk-Off where models in their 20s, 30s, and even 40s walk the walk in summer's skin-baring outfits. Reveal skin even at your 40's? Hell yeah! I dragged along Erika for this event, since we missed each other being immersed in work, plus there's more chance for us to catch up.

Romina and I in similar LBDs. No we didn't plan this, but Romina was the one who gave me the idea of where to purchase lovely and affordable outfits that are pretty comfortable. :)

Anyhow, after dinner and cocktails, we proceded to the fashion walk to witness the event.

I must say it was hard to distinguish which models were in their 20's, 30's, or 40's as each model looked absolutely fabulous in the short skirts, sleeveless dresses, plunging necklines, and high heels. The veteran models I must say, still have it - the fierce walk, the poise, and elegance. Definitely they defied age and still looked fabulous all these years. After the fashion show, Olay ambassadors Miriam Quiambao, Angel Aquino, and Daphne Osena-Paez took the stage and shared their experience using the Olay Body line. Already in their 30s, these women still looked fantastic in their own summer outfits. Okay.. so I'd better hit the shower and see if I'd look the same after 7 showers.

After the event, Erika and I had orange juice over at Coffee Bean for some girly-bonding, pink shoes and Olay body bars and all. Looks like my doughnut queen bee is all smiles too. :)

My Solution For Moisturized Skin Without The Icky Goo Feeling

Welcome to the peak of summer. It's hot. We either love it or we hate it. We could love it at the beach or poolside wherethe sun can transform our pale complexion into sunkissed glow while effortlessly lying down on our backside or on our stomachs. We could hate it because it leaves us with makeup meltdown or a face that could deflect a thousand people with its oiliness. A common misconception we all have is actually to skip moisturizer during the hot months. We all go, "My skin is producing oil anyway, and in fact, it's practically haywire!" So hence, moisturizer is skipped. Actually, the more we need moisturizer because the sun can dry out our skin, ageing it and making it look more haggard than it should.

Actually, the real thing is to never skip on moisturizer, whatever season. Just like we switch to lighter clothing, flip-flops, and wide-brimmed hats, we should also find moisturizer that we could use during the summer months to keep our skin at tip-top condition. Moisturizer should be lightweight, non-greasy, and of course, not skimp out on the moisturizing benefits on the skin. Personally, I like it to smell nice and also to have a tad on anti-ageing benefits.

Currently, I'm using Olay Regenerist day cream, which contains all the anti-ageing benefits I need without leaving my skin red and raw. I still use my micro-sculpting cream as my night cream, and since at night I'm in a relatively controlled environment, I do not experience any regreasing much. For this hot weather, somehow, I still need something lighter. I love my day cream, but for weather going crazy and humid yet desert-like, my skin somehow would want something lighter, reminding me of my need to still replenish its lost moisture. Plus, my day cream's running out. Perfect timing.

In keeping my loyalty to this brand (which has really babied and pampered my skin as I've been using it for more than a year now), I was introduced to something that seemed to answer my prayers.

Olay Total Effects with Cooling Essence promises to give the skin a dewy glow all day while fighting signs of ageing. It's also proven to be less greasy than other moisturizers. Hmmmm.... anti-ageing, aesthetics, non-greasy, and hey... cooling? Seems to be the answer to my prayers yes? At Php 699, this is a good steal. :) Before I subjected myself or my test subjects to this product, I needed to do a patch test on myself. This time, I rubbed a significant amount on my forearm to see if I had any adverse reaction. Turns out I didn't. Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes! I could use it.

It comes in a very slim bottle, which looks quite elegant too. All I need is a pea-sized amount to be able to spread this evenly on my face and massage it. I like that it feels cool on my skin, giving my skin a boost of fresh energy. The cooling effect is actually due to the mint extract in the product, giving the skin a quick, cooling burst. It's quite energizing too. And just when you think this is for girls...

EJ seems to like it too. I used this as his moisturizer during our recent photoshoot. His comment was that it feels cool on the skin. By the way, in this shoot, I'm not wearing makeup but just the Total Effects cream.

The weather at this time was extremely hot, yet I'm glad that I didn't grease out as much. My face felt really moisturized after and I was less shiny and I didn't look that I had a head-on colision with a big and greasy lechon. I like too that the smell was really light and I didn't feel like my pores were getting too stuffed up and screaming "SAVE MEEE!". I have soft and supple skin without any greasy afterfeel.

Looks like whatever season, there's still no excuse for proper skin care. All we need are just the right products.

My Bathroom Best Friend

No, dears, I don't deny my age when I have my IDs to prove how old I am, but that doesn't mean I should just let myself get wrinkled and crinkly, like a piece of crumpled paper right? So my best bets have been anti-ageing creams, which prevent signs of ageing like wrinkles, dark spots, fine lines, etc. My first step towards anti-ageing was when I was introduced to Olay Regenerist last year, being conscious that there are preventive measures for fine lines, wrinkles, and all that, and I should be very aware of them. Plus, what I discovered is that stress (which is inevitable in our day-to-day lives) and the free radicals in the air (although I've been smoke-free for two years, I'm still exposed to dust, dirt, pollution, and second-hand smoke) could contribute to ageing.



While I was grocery-shopping, I saw that Olay had a range of bath soaps and of course, I decided to pick this baby up and give it a try, as I need a non-drying bath soap now that the colder months are coming and my body skin has been suffering dry spells.

An age-defying bar. Yay! Actually, this has been my soap for quite a while and I've fallen in love with its scent, and how it lingers on me as I opened the box. The soap feels lush on the skin and my skin doesn't feel tight and dry when I rinse the residue off (I guess that's why it's called moisturizing bar). I actually do an extra loofah rub with this one, especially if I have a shoot and I need to rid my skin of dead cells. Another thing I like about it is this doesn't melt that fast, provided that it is a moisturizing soap bar, and soaps like these tend to wither down in like 2 weeks but I still got more of this left after 2 weeks. Nope, doesn't feel greasy either. Oh by the way, do not expect the skin to magically transform into the skin of a 20-year-old girl immediately. What this does (I think) is moisturize the skin as it cleanses, so the skin isn't scaly and dry after bathing and soaping, but still soft and supple (and cleaner!). Of course, I do moisturize with lotion after, to replenish lost moisture, even if I'm using a moisturizing soap.

Another thing too, is that I didn't get red spots on my skin after. I usually get like red rashes on my skin and I kinda itch in some soaps (even certain baby soaps, not just the harsher ones), but this one didn't leave a single red itchy spot.

Do I like this? I really do. :) It works great for me now that the colder months tell me to boost up on moisturizing.

Hot Treat: Regenerist Daily Thermal Mini-Peel

Since I can't afford major dermatological sessions nor do I have the energy or guts to subject my skin to laser beams, I went for regular, DIY approaches that are less traumatizing to my bank account. I was intrigued when friends told me about the Regenerist Daily Thermal Mini-Peel on how it relaxes the pores and rejuvinates the skin. Also, it warms up on the skin on contact. So, when I was asked what stuff I want abroad, I requested a tube of this product.

Regenerist Daily Thermal Mini-Peel

"activates regeneration of surface skin cells for the results of a mini-professional treatment....rejuvenated, newer skin.

"Rejuvenate...water activated, self-heating formula deeply warms skin to relax pores. Reveal...nourishing hydration for skin that is beautifully moisturized. Regenerate...exfoliating glycolic acid + micro-crystal complex gently polishes skin's surface for the look of newer skin."

Since it exfoliates and contains glycolic acid, it's recommended to wear sunscreen of at least SPF 15 or higher after using the product and avoiding sun exposure.

Drections: After moistening face with water, dispense the product (pea-sized is what I used) and dab onto forehead, chin, cheeks and nose. Massage all over face and re-wet 1-2 times and rinse with water.

The product is water-activated and it warms upon contact with the water on the face. For those who are warry of the skin "burning," the warmth is not too hot, but just like a sauna or hot steam during the facial. Also, be sure to avoid the eye and lip areas as these can be sensitive. I also advise not to scrub too vigorously, especially if the skin is quite sensitive to avoid scratching it. I also love the smell since it's not too heavy on my nose. After I rinsed my skin, I've noticed how my skin felt significantly smoother. The warmth of course, was gone. I applied Olay Regenerist Serum right after to seal in the moisture, since I wasn't going out. If I were going out, I would need its day cream or a separate sunblock, especially if I'll be out in the scorching sun

Me: No makeup, no photo-retouching, no special effects right after using Daily Thermal Mini-Peel and Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum.

This product, however, is not available localy and is available (as far as I know) in the US. I use this once-a-week, although the product states that it's okay for daily use. Exfoliating for me should be done (at most) twice a week since my skin could get sensitive. Do I love it? I sure do. I just can't wait for my Thermal-Peel Day!
